IT process automation (ITPA) enables the creation of simple and scalable workflows to get specific tasks done across multiple systems.

It is workflow automation that is oriented toward tactical objectives (such as “list installed software” or “execute this script”) as opposed to strategic objectives (“keep systems updated” or “enforce security policies”).

Community-powered, empowering community

Extend the functionality of the modules you know and love. Many modules from the Puppet Forge include tasks that can be run from within either Puppet Enterprise or on the command line with Bolt. These tasks enhance the power of the community-based content for which the Puppet Forge is well-known.
