OSCON 2012, or: There ain’t no Party like an Open Source Party
OSCON is fast approaching, and we'd like to welcome attendees back to Portland. Puppet Labs is among the companies representing Portland and Open Source again this year.
To kick off OSCON right, we’re hosting a party Tuesday, July 17th—opening night—from 7 PM on. It’s the opening night for the convention, and we’d love to see you at our offices. Last year we had hundreds of people through our space, sharing stories, enjoying each others company and carrying on. This year’s event is poised to be no different, other than having shorter lines for the beverages. If you want an official invite or reminder for the event, sign up here.
At the conference itself, we’ll have presence on the convention floor as well as a few speakers throughout the week. Come find us on the floor at booth #607. We’ll be talking all things Puppet, infrastructure agility, and devops—and Luke Kanies (the original author of Puppet) will be holding office hours from 10 am—2 pm at the booth on July 19th. As for the talks:
- Speaking on Thursday at 4:10 PM, is Dan Bode on Automating Cloud Deployments with and Puppet and OpenStack. Dan should also be around on the OpenStack day at OSCON.
- James Turnbull (along with PostgreSQL extraordinaire Selena Deckelmann) are speaking at 3:30 on Tuesday during the Business Leadership Day on Hiring the Right Way.
We look forward to seeing you next week!Learn More:
