Puppet Installation Manager (PIM) makes it easier than ever to install or upgrade Puppet Enterprise at any scale.
- Configure and install Puppet Enterprise: Whether you want to try out Puppet Enterprise or deploy a scaled architecture for managing thousands of nodes, PIM enables you to get started quickly.
- Upgrade Puppet Enterprise: When you’re ready to upgrade, use PIM to install the new Puppet Enterprise version across your existing infrastructure.

IMPORTANT: Security-Enhanced Linux (SELinux) is enabled and enforced by default on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 (RHEL 9) operating systems. In order to use PIM, users must provide permission for PIM binary.
