PuppetConf 2017 is the perfect opportunity to bond face-to-face with fellow Puppet users in the community over shared problems, solutions and experiences.
If you're excited to meet folks and start chatting before PuppetConf 2017, the Puppet Community Slack is open to all. It is a great way to start learning from the broad Puppet community. Thank you 2016 sponsors. 2017 sponsors coming soon!

Become Puppet Certified
The Puppet Education and Certification Team will once again be onsite at PuppetConf 2017 offering Puppet professional certification exams free! This year, be among the first to take the Puppet Professional 2017 certification exam. The new exam will be released in late September.
If you've been thinking about pursuing or renewing a Puppet certification, but haven't had time to figure out when and where, then this is it! Earning a Puppet certification is one of the best ways to validate what you know about Puppet technologies and distinguish yourself in the Puppet community.
Puppet certification exams are normally $200, but will be free at PuppetConf 2017 for a limited number of participants. The exams will be offered Wednesday through Friday. In order to prepare for the exam, it's important that you review the exam objectives and familiarize yourself with the testing process described on our website.
We want to get to know you better. The Puppet team looks forward to working hand-in-hand with you and the Puppet community to collaborate, innovate, problem solve and listen to your feedback. Luke Kanies, Puppet founder, can often be found at his favorite part of the event: the hallway track. PuppetConf is also a great opportunity to meet our president and CEO Sanjay Mirchandani.
