Dashboard

Sections

The dashboard provides a high-level summary view of your infrastructure, and consists of a number of dashboard cards to drill down from for detailed information.

By default, the dashboard automatically refreshes every 15 minutes. To change to a manual refresh, click Settings > Automatically refresh dashboard. The manual refresh dashboard option appears at the top of the dashboard.

Dashboard cards

Hosts

The total number of network and cloud hosts running on your infrastructure. Click the card to drill down and view the detailed list.

Packages

The total number of packages installed on discovered hosts. Click the card to drill down and view the detailed list.

Containers

The total number of containers running on discovered hosts. Click the card to drill down and view the detailed list.

Inaccessible hosts

The total number of discovered hosts running on your infrastructure that could not be accessed due to entering invalid credentials or due to configuration issues. Click the card to drill down and view the detailed list.

AWS hosts

The total number of EC2 instances running on your Amazon Web Services (AWS) account. Click the card to drill down and view the detailed list. For more information, see Amazon Web Services.

VMware hosts

The total number of hosts running on your VMware Vsphere account. Click the card to drill down and view the detailed list. For more information, see VMware vSphere.

OpenStack hosts

The total number of hosts running on your OpenStack account. Click the card to drill down and view the detailed list. For more information, see OpenStack .

Azure hosts The total number of hosts running on your Microsoft Azure account. Click the card to drill down and view the detailed list. For more information, see Microsoft Azure.
Hosts with Puppet

The percentage and total number of discovered hosts with or without Puppet installed, as well as unknown hosts. Click the card to drill down and view the detailed list.

Note: Unknown hosts can be either network devices, or hosts you haven't provided credentials for.
Uptime less than 24 hours

The percentage and total number of hosts with an uptime with less than, or greater than, 24 hours. Click the card to drill down and view the detailed list.

Top operating systems

The top six operating systems installed on discovered hosts. Click the card to drill down and view the detailed list.

Linux distributions

The percentage and total number of Linux hosts categorized by the distribution installed. Click the card to drill down and view the detailed list.

Windows versions

The percentage and total number of Windows hosts categorized by the version of Windows installed. Click the card to drill down and view the detailed list.

Top cloud instances by region

The top six cloud instances categorized by region. Click the card to drill down and view the detailed list.

Top containers by image

The top six container images used by running containers. Click the card to drill down and view the detailed list.

Use the menu options to manage sources and credentials, run tasks on hosts, view the status of each discovery event, and to view your license information.
