Identifying unpatched nodes

The Unpatched nodes report shows nodes with patches pending. The status of nodes is tracked using PE patch management.

You can use this report to see which nodes require patches, which operating systems are due for updates, and answer questions like this: "How many of my critical application servers have patches pending?"

You can use filters to adjust the time period. The default filter is a week.

As well as the patch percentage of your nodes and distribution by operating system, the Unpatched nodes report shows a list of all unpatched nodes, along with basic information about each node:

  • Node name

  • Updates

  • Last patch

  • Operating system

  • Operating system version

Click a node name to view the Node details page. You are taken directly to the Packages tab, where you can see which nodes have pending patches. Patch available means that patches are pending.
