Senior Field Sales Representative

Hi, I’m Rachel Lew, Regional Director (Asia) at Puppet,

I’m looking for a Senior Field Sales Representative to join our team in Singapore and become part of a rapidly growing region. We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven senior sales executive with strong large account management skills, and have experience closing large sales within the Government enterprise accounts in Singapore and across Asia.

Meaningful work you’ll contribute 

  • Conduct sales activities including prospecting and developing opportunities in large Enterprise and Government strategic accounts
  • Selling Puppet’s software to major accounts with a strong technical acumen as well as the ability to have a presence with C-Level executives in the accounts
  • Building and execute territory plans utilizing the MEDDPICC sales methodology to ensure long term selling strategy within these large accounts as well as create short term tactical opportunities
  • Ensure the successful rollout and adoption of Puppet’s products through strong account management activities and coordination with pre-and-post sales engineering and support resources
  • Maintain current, accurate, and active SFDC hygiene and pipeline forecasting
  • Assist sales management in conveying customer needs to product managers, and technical support staff

Valuable experiences and skills you’ll bring to Puppet 

  • At least 10 years experience in software or related high tech industry
  • Experience in both Enterprise and Singapore Government accounts preferred
  • Good understanding of the Singapore government landscape. You are familiar with bulk tender processes and the government procurement process
  • Existing working relationship with the C-Suite/Director level within government agencies
  • Domain specific knowledge of large corporate IT environments including basic understanding of client/server computing, networking and cloud computing
  • Strong and proven track record of enterprise software selling, quota, and goal achievement
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with understanding that enterprise sales is a team effort
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to simplify complex technical concepts to customer
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Travel as necessary to accounts in order to develop customer relationships and close large opportunities (via ground and/or air transportation)

Bonus, but not required (shout about it in your application if you have experience):

  • Expertise using Salesforce.com and web-based conferencing systems   
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing
