Clojure Software Engineer

at Puppet, Inc. Remote, North America

Hi, I’m Banji Oyebisi, Sr. Manager of Engineering at Puppet,

I’m seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in helping us build our next generation of Puppet Enterprise, a market-leading configuration management solution. We’re a cross-functional team focused on delivering backend features, contributing primarily to the orchestrator service, one  of the many services of  Puppet Enterprise that our customers use to view and manage change across their infrastructure. Our work directly impacts orchestrating Tasks and Plans in our software and we keep the customer in mind at all times when developing features.

At Puppet, engineers on feature delivery teams collaborate closely with tech leads and members of the product team to determine what we build and how we build it. Our team works in an agile, iterative fashion, breaking up large ideas into small, concrete chunks that can be implemented quickly to deliver value or further learning. We work collectively, allowing us to accomplish far more as a  team than could be accomplished individually.

Learn more about how Puppet Enterprise eliminates soul crushing work and changes the lives of our customers!

*Covid Vaccination Requirement for US employees

In the U.S., Puppet employees are required to have proof of vaccination for COVID-19. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) defines “fully vaccinated” as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. Puppet will require proof of vaccination and consider requests for exemption from this requirement during the post-offer pre-employment phase as a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs where the accommodation would not cause Puppet undue hardship.
