Senior Content Marketing Specialist

at Puppet, Inc. Remote, North America

Hi, I’m Zibby Keaton, Director of Brand and Comms at Puppet,

I’m looking for a Senior Content Marketing Specialist to join our team to help plan, build and manage branded, informative and educational content to help Puppet achieve key business growth objectives. Our content team is a key part in building the storytelling that helps a customer go from being interested in Puppet to fully onboard with Puppet’s suite of products. You are a natural storyteller who understands the buyer's journey, target audience, and buying committee. You have deep experience in creating content for Digital Campaigns and ABM.

Meaningful work you’ll contribute

  • You will partner and work cross-functionally to build the best content for the brand, whether to enable sales, support marketing, or empower product users.
  • You will help manage contractors to scale content production and ensure we have a heavy stream of engaging assets to build the right buyer’s journey.
  • You will partner closely with the Editor in Chief to create engaging content that connects with our target audiences and delivers them into and through the marketing pipeline.
  • You will support creative mini ABM campaigns that deepen relationships with enterprise customer accounts for varying audience stakeholders (leader, decision maker, and practitioners).

You are…

  • Scrappy and self-directed. You are skilled at autonomously driving projects in a startup environment with minimal guidance and limited resources while having a ton of freedom and creativity to continue moving forward. You roll up your sleeves and drive execution and results.
  • An entrepreneurial-minded spirit—you enjoy the challenge of expanding creativity into new territory. You aren’t afraid to try something new to test the waters on how people interact with content now vs five years ago.
  • A team player—you understand that content and assets aren’t produced in a vacuum and that it’s key to find stakeholders that can help you build and bringing them along for the journey.

Valuable experiences and skills you’ll bring to Puppet

  • 5+ years of technology or agency production experience in a content-related role.
  • Strong understanding of digital content and channels: web, paid media, video, podcasts, social media, contributed content.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofing skills.
  • A deep understanding of infrastructure automation, DevOps, and cloud technologies.
  • An understanding of how to manage contractor and agency relationships as well as the ability to scale out contractors to fit the content needs of your team.
  • An ability to work and communicate across departments.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills.

Bonus, but not required (shout about it in your application if you have experience):

  • Working on teams that support ABM and integrated campaigns is a ++
  • Understanding of Showpad and other sales enablement platforms for content
  • A working understanding of web standards

We are hiring at various experience levels and we’re particularly interested in having a diverse team with a broad set of skills and viewpoints. If this seems like your dream job, but you’re not sure if you qualify, apply anyway!

*Covid Vaccination Requirement for US employees

In the U.S., Puppet employees are required to have proof of vaccination for COVID-19. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) defines “fully vaccinated” as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. Puppet will require proof of vaccination and consider requests for exemption from this requirement during the post-offer pre-employment phase as a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs where the accommodation would not cause Puppet undue hardship.

*Visa Sponsorship

Please note, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
