Senior Salesforce Administrator

at Puppet, Inc. Remote United States

Hi, I’m Thomas Gomolski, Sr. Manager, GTM at Puppet,

I’m looking for a Senior Salesforce Administrator to join our team to support the Rev Ops Business Unit!  It’s a great time to join our Revenue Operations Team while working with multiple stakeholders to deliver solutions that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable on the Salesforce platform.

As our primary Senior Salesforce Administrator, this role will be responsible for designing and implementing declarative solutions, and owning the testing, release and support thereof. Successful candidates will have a strong technical background in Salesforce, a deep understanding of the Salesforce data model, and B2B Sales Operations or Revenue Operations.

Our Salesforce Administrator will work with multiple stakeholders to deliver solutions that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable on the Salesforce platform. In addition to this skillset, we are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter, curious, with strong organizational skills, who thrives in a fast-paced and autonomous environment.

Meaningful work you’ll contribute

  • Own and manage the Salesforce ecosystem for Puppet. This includes Salesforce, and related integrations syncing data with Salesforce.
  • Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Own Admin functions such as creating new users, adding fields, configuring field settings, picklist management, and data quality.
  • Advocate for performance and quality improvements across the sales tech stack
  • Collaborate and communicate with technical resources across the company
  • Propose and implement solutions for “technical debt” to keep the team running efficiently
  • Extensive experience creating Salesforce activity timelines
  • Participate and lead user acceptance testing, and maintain documentation
  • Triage and remediate bugs as they are presented

You are…

  • A team player—you understand enterprise sales is a challenge best tackled as a team effort. You effectively partner with your sales engineering counterparts, utilizing their technical expertise.
  • Scrappy and self-directed. You are skilled at autonomously driving projects in a startup environment with minimal guidance and limited resources while having a ton of freedom and creativity to continue moving forward. You roll up your sleeves and drive execution and results.

Valuable experiences and skills you’ll bring to Puppet

  • Understanding of the Salesforce.com data model and how to effectively extract, transform and load data
  • 5+ years in Senior Salesforce Administration
  • Salesforce.com Admin Certification (past or previous required)
  • Experience owning and driving a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution
  • Knowledge of budget adherence and experience working within budget constraints
  • Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and across teams.
  • Experience maintaining and configuring Salesforce and CPQ applications.

Bonus, but not required (shout about it in your application if you have experience):

  • Experience with any of the following applications are a plus: CPQ, ZoomInfo, Marketo, Intacct, Netsuite, Salesloft

We are hiring at various experience levels and we’re particularly interested in having a diverse team with a broad set of skills and viewpoints. If this seems like your dream job, but you’re not sure if you qualify, apply anyway!
