Salesforce Business Systems Analyst

at Puppet, Inc. Remote North America

Hi, I’m Thomas Gomolski, Sr. Manager, GTM at Puppet,

I’m looking for a Salesforce Business Systems Analyst to join our team to support the Rev Ops Business Unit! The person in this role will partner closely with business stakeholders on the Rev Ops team to scope, design and implement high quality technical solutions in Salesforce.com and other related systems. We're looking for a Business Analyst who is efficient, collaborative, can dig into the details, and also facilitate a project from inception to launch.

Meaningful work you’ll contribute

  •  Ensure that requests from the Rev Ops organization are effectively qualified, prioritized and executed.
  • Collaborate with IT and business partners throughout the organization, including development teams, accounting, finance and stakeholders within the Reb Ops business unit to identify system needs, document business requirements and publish related processes and procedures, identify key controls and determine actions for process improvement.
  • Support business users and help solve simple to complex application issues.
  • Monitor and respond to feature and support requests from business users by maintaining backlogs and holding daily/weekly stand-up meetings with project teams to ensure forward project momentum
  • Identify and perform tasks within projects with minimal direction

You are…

  • A team player—you understand enterprise sales is a challenge best tackled as a team effort. You effectively partner with your sales engineering counterparts, utilizing their technical expertise.
  • Scrappy and self-directed. You are skilled at autonomously driving projects in a startup environment with minimal guidance and limited resources while having a ton of freedom and creativity to continue moving forward. You roll up your sleeves and drive execution and results.

Valuable experiences and skills you’ll bring to Puppet

  • Proven experience delivering enterprise software solutions using Salesforce.com in an enterprise environment
  • Experience in improving and driving automation
  • Experience with Lead to Opportunity business processes, including quoting and revenue management
  • Experience writing detailed specifications of user requirements, business processes and procedures required to develop and implement software solutions.
  • Experience communicating with senior business leaders to drive alignment among business stakeholders from divergent functions.

Bonus, but not required (shout about it in your application if you have experience):

  • Experience with any of the following applications are a plus: Steelbrick CPQ, ZoomInfo, Marketo, Intacct, Netsuite, Salesloft

We are hiring at various experience levels and we’re particularly interested in having a diverse team with a broad set of skills and viewpoints. If this seems like your dream job, but you’re not sure if you qualify, apply anyway!
