I’m Ryan Russell-Yates, SE Manager of US West at Puppet,
I’m looking for a Sales Engineer (SE) to join our team supporting our partner organization. Solutions Engineers at Puppet come from a variety of backgrounds, but must be comfortable with automation, process improvement, infrastructure management, or application development. This role focuses on working with business partners to identify areas of improvement and ensuring existing and new customers receive the value and fully adopt Puppet’s portfolio of software.
Successful people in this role come from various backgrounds which include Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps Engineer, Software Development, Automation Software Consultants, as well as Professional Services Engineers. The solutions engineering team at Puppet includes a cross-section of people with those backgrounds including teammates like DevOps engineer, Matt Stone, former Applications Consultant, Mike Smith, and Sr. Solutions Engineer, John Laffey.
