Web Developer

at Puppet, Inc. Portland

Hi, I’m Matthew Beck, Manager of Website at Puppet,

I’m looking for a Web Developer to join our team to help us improve and expand on our web properties to improve engagement with our target audiences and help us drive success across our organization. We have an exciting stack, and get to work with diverse teams across Puppet.

At Puppet, the website team works closely to build, maintain and support a wide range of online brand and marketing activities.

Meaningful work you’ll contribute

  •  Build and maintain our portfolio of marketing websites, utilizing ReactJS, and PHP
  •  Help build and shape our online events platform
  •  Work with internal and external contributors to build compelling online content

You are…

  • A team player—you understand that web marketing and development is a challenge best tackled as a team effort. You effectively partner with your stakeholder counterparts, utilizing their domain expertise.
  • Scrappy and self-directed. You are skilled at autonomously driving projects in a startup environment with minimal guidance and limited resources while having a ton of freedom and creativity to continue moving forward. You roll up your sleeves and drive execution and results.
  •  The teammate you want to have. We team up so that we accomplish things that alone we could not. Our professionalism shows in our generous communication, customer focus, and commitment to accountability. We celebrate successes and lift each other up.

Valuable experiences and skills you’ll bring to Puppet

  • Strong Javascript skills
  • Solid foundation of PHP
  • Understanding of User Experience
