Business Development Director - System Integrators

Hi, I’m Rachel, Senior Country Manager, Singapore at Puppet,

I’m looking for a Business Development Director for System Integrators to join our team. We are seeking an experienced professional with strong System Integrator management skills. You will represent Puppet and help build out our partner ecosystem in our go-to-market strategy across Asia.

 

Meaningful work you’ll contribute

  • Focus on a selected number of system integrators across the Asia region for rapid expansion
  • Identify, recruit and enable new and existing system integrators within Asia
  • Ensure Puppet’s branding is top of mind within partner accounts
  • Arrange sales enablement sessions to partners and ensure the value proposition of Puppet is well understood and represented
  • Involved in end-to-end partner Contract Negotiation
  • Work closely with the Country Manager and Account teams to close business across the region
  • Conducting sales activities including prospecting and developing opportunities with the system integrators in large/ strategic accounts within the government and healthcare sectors
  • Ensure successful rollout and adoption of Puppet’s products through strong account management activities and coordination with pre-and-post sales engineering and support resources
  • Prepare activity and forecast reports
  • Generate leads from trade shows and regional networking events
  • Update and maintain Sales database
  • Assist Sales management in conveying customer needs to product managers and technical support team
  • Act as a mentor to junior sales personnel and assist in the development of sales training material
  • Identifying the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

Valuable experiences and skills you’ll bring to Puppet

  • 10+ years of experience in software or related high-tech industry
  • Own a Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing
  • Expertise using CRM and web-based conferencing systems
  • Experienced in Government and Healthcare accounts within Singapore is preferred but not mandatory
  • Domain specific knowledge of large corporate IT environments including basic understanding of client/ server computing, networking and cloud computing
  • Proven track record of quota and goal achievement working with system integrators across the Asia region
  • Providing high degree of major account management and control
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to simplify complex technical concepts to customer
  • Latitude for independent judgement, working under minimal supervision on complex projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills and ability to excel in a team-oriented atmosphere
