Senior Order Management Specialist

Hi, I’m Tami Martin, Sr. Director of Customer Operations and Deal Strategy at Puppet.

I’m looking for a Senior Order Management Specialist to join our Revenue Operations (RevOps) team to support all elements of the quote to order process and help sales close deals. Order Management plays a critical role at Puppetenabling sales on order and system processes, reviewing and approving quotes, processing orders, licensing our products and more.  

RevOps at Puppet consists of several teams whose collective goal is to drive business growth through operational efficiency and cross-functional insights for our Go-To-Market teams (Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success).  In addition to supporting day-to day order operations, you will work closely with other RevOps team members and across the organization to streamline and enhance our quote to cash processes. 

Meaningful work you’ll contribute: 

  • Perform quote validation and approval to ensure we can honor all quoted offers 

  • Close orders in compliance with booking and revenue recognition policies 

  • Manage the integrity of our customer and entitlement data in Salesforce
  • Generate and distribute product licenses
  • Develop, document and train on quote to cash processes and systems 
  • Train and enable Sales on quote to cash processes and use of Salesforce for quoting and management of account and opportunity data
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for projects and initiatives that impact quote to cash processes and systems

    • A team player. You understand the power of collaboration and build strong relationships within cross-functional teams.
    • An active listener and skilled communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate both verbally and in writing
    • Able to support the business from 9am to 6pm PT.

Valuable experiences and skills you’ll bring to Puppet:

  • 5+ years experience in Order Management
  • 3+ years experience using Salesforce in an Order Management role
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and workflow in a SAAS business

Bonus, but not required (shout about it in your application if you have experience):

  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ software
  • Experience in a start up environment or rapidly changing, high-growth environment
  • Experience with enabling sales on quoting and order processes and/or use of Salesforce
