Customer Advocacy Manager

at Puppet, Inc. US - Remote

Hi, I’m Alanna Brown, Sr. Director Field Marketing and Community Relations at Puppet.

I’m looking for a Customer Advocacy Manager  to join my team to help craft the future of Puppet by driving our customer advocacy program. We want a customer marketing professional who, like us, has a particular passion for connecting with successful customers and empowering them as public advocates and turning their stories into marketing gold. We’re working through complex challenges as we navigate an increasingly multi-cloud world with our customers — you’ll be instrumental in defining the next phase of Puppet.

Meaningful work you’ll contribute:

  • Generate a pipeline of referenceable customers and brand advocates. You’ll identify potential advocates open to sharing their expertise through references, third party reviews, industry surveys, case studies, speaking engagements, media interviews and more.
  • Create customer stories that help prospects understand the value of Puppet faster. You’ll uncover customer results that demonstrate our unique value proposition within key markets, and make those stories come to life for our integrated marketing programs, sales teams, and partners.
  • Run our global customer advisory program. You’ll work with product management to orchestrate a cadence of customer advisory board meetings around the world to facilitate our most critical product feedback loop.
  • Own our Net Promoter program. You’ll work with our Customer Success team to manage our annually occurring customer net promoter program.

You are…

  • An advocate for how customers experience your company in the context of their business goals, their market segment, and their use cases — you are customer obsessed!
  • A creative writer and speaker who knows how to appeal to your audiences’ heads and hearts about the successes that await them when they partner with your company.
  • A deliverer of delight. You relish delighting your internal stakeholders and end customers.
  • A team player — you understand that many colleagues serve each individual account and work together with them to deepen your relationship with our customers.

Valuable experiences and skills you’ll bring to Puppet

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Drive cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to collaborate with executives, both internally and externally.
  • Superb presentations and client-facing skills.
  • Strong project and program management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally, with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Be an innovative thinker, creative problem solver and effectively manage multiple on-going assignments in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
  • Create customer-related collateral to support marketing programs, launches, etc.
  • Understanding of various marketing functions/funnel.
