In April, Microsoft hosted a DevOps OSS Azure Days gathering in Madrid, Spain. We noticed the entry on the Microsoft Openness blog, and with Microsoft's permission, are reposting some highlights for you here. Thanks to Nicolas Corrarello, senior solutions engineer at Puppet Labs, for translating into English.

On the 23rd of April, we hosted another edition of Azure Days, this time focused on DevOps methodology and the best open source tools, like Docker, Puppet, Chef and Git. The event, which had over 150 guests attending from the open source community, was hosted in the offices of Microsoft's Spanish subsidiary, sponsored by CAPSiDE.

Open Source community experts have shown us how, through the usage and integration of open source technologies in the Microsoft Azure platform, we can rise to the challenges companies can find when adopting DevOps practices, and carry out continuous integration, from developing a solution, automation, and packaging, to integration and deployment.

Here's a demo of Nicolas Corrarello's presentation, "How to puppetize in the cloud" — in Spanish, of course! And here are his slides.

For the complete list of presentations and slide decks, see the original post on the Microsoft Openness blog.
